Calvary Temple Christian Preschool
Our pre-school is state licensed, led by a caring staff that endeavors to develop the whole child. Our staff strives to instill the life-long skills of cooperation and learning to get along with others. The foundation of all of this is God’s love for us.
The pre-school begins at age 2 (potty trained), and runs up to pre-kindergarten. We believe that our preschool provides the educational and social foundation that students need in order to be successful in school.

Elementary
CTCS offers a quality education that is sequential in form. Our elementary program utilizes a curriculum which enables the students to flow from kindergarten through fifth grade with continuity. Our teachers hold a variety of degrees and credentials and our staff exceeds the accrediting standards set by WASC and ACSI.
The elementary students attend Spanish, computers and P.E. on a weekly or biweekly basis. The goal of the elementary school is to partner with the home and church to educate each child to their fullest potential. Our desire is to provide a strong education as well as to foster a life-long love for Christ.

Middle School
The middle school at Calvary Temple Christian School consists of grades six through eight. Our teachers encourage independence and organization in the students in order to prepare them for high school. The students are challenged with innovative projects that inspire creativity.
Our middle school students attend computers, Spanish and P.E. biweekly. They are given the opportunity to participate in electives three times a week. These electives include yearbook / newspaper staff, home economics and health / fitness. Our vision is to equip our students with the tools necessary to become productive and successful in high school.

Extended Day
Our Extended Day program runs before and after school. The hours are 6:30a.m.-8:50a.m. and 3:00p.m.- 6:00p.m. The Extended Day staff provides the students with fun activities as well as outside play time to keep them active and engaged. During the morning Extended Day Program, breakfast is offered at a nominal cost. In the afternoon, snacks are also available. CTCS offers a family rate that enables families with multiple children to participate in this program at a reasonable cost.

Summer Day Program
The Summer Day program offered at CTCS is one that our students love! It runs Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. There is a hot lunch is offered throughout the summer and snacks are available for purchase. The students attend field trips every Tuesday and Thursday and interesting workshops are also presented. The Summer Day Program staff works diligently to provide the students with a fun and exciting summer.

The Details
The school day runs from 8:50 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
CTCS is blessed with a beautiful state-of-the-art playground facility! This area includes a basketball court, grass area, cement play area and giant play structure.
The dress code consists of polo-style shirts, pants, shorts and skirts, which can be purchased from a uniform supply company and several retail stores.

Chapel
Our students attend chapel weekly. These are times when they are challenged in their walk with the Lord through music, worship and relevant lessons. The elementary chapel is for kindergarten through fourth grade students. Our elementary teachers and the children’s pastor from Calvary Temple give oversight to this chapel program. The middle school chapel is for the fifth through eighth grade students. This program is directed by the Junior High and High School Pastors from Calvary Temple.
